Conde Nast Traveler Gold List 2019!

Just reading the 2019 "Gold List" by Conde Nast Traveler magazine and they mention Waternish on the Isle of Skye as one of the greatest places in the world to visit! here's what they say.....

"Skye has long been celebrated for its drama and scale, its scoops and hjagged notches, and the dark promontories of the Cuillin mountains. It is consistently named as one of the world's most prized locations and attracts the travellers to match. But there are still many areas where you wont find a soul. Waternish was the last hold of wolves on Skye. 'Turn off the road, north at the fairy bridge' sounds like a mythic instruction, but people living along this distant peninsula talk readily about will-o-the-wisps and moonbows (they happen over the Hebrides). "

Wow, what a great write up, and so very true. Green Pastures Cottage on Waternish is the epitome of the peace, tranquillity and lack of other people that Conde Nast mention here....and it has those views out to the Hebrides too.
