Built at the turn of the 19th century as a croft cottage, Green Pastures has been refurbished to ensure maximum comfort, enjoyment and convenience for our guests. The cottage is fully double glazed and has oil fired central heating throughout.
The lounge is a large room with a huge tilt 'n turn double glazed picture window overlooking the sea. Settle down here in front of the log burning stove to enjoy the views, look out for eagles, watch the satellite TV (Freesat), read a book, or plan your next walk on Skye.
In the fully equipped kitchen you will find everything you need. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, hob and extractor, fridge and freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and lots of crockery and pans. There is also a breakfast bar seating 4, so you can eat here too. The kitchen has zoned lighting so that you set your
mood. The room is light and warm, with picture windows, underfloor heating, and a radiator.
The main bedroom has a king size bed and again has large picture windows overlooking the sea - imagine waking up and sitting in bed relaxing with a cup of tea, looking at the sea and the hills - wonderful. The second bedroom is a smaller room but is also lovely and light, with two windows to the rear and side, and twin beds.
The bathroom has been refitted in a contemporary style, and has a shower bath with large rain-shower over, underfloor heating and a radiator, so is lovely and cosy for a relaxing soak.
The cottage has a large hall, and a hall/boot room entrance at the rear where you can store your muddy boots and outdoor clothes.Outside there is a neat garden with washing line if you like to hang clothes out, plus all the croft land which leads down to the edge of the cliff and up behind the house. There is plenty of parking by the side of the house, and sheds where you will find bikes for your use.
