I just wanted to say thank you for a lovely holiday. We loved your cottage, and because we knew you are going to live there it felt really homely and we were privileged to be there. We saw the deer several times as they seemed to have a daily routine walking across the crofts at a certain time of day. We also saw 4 Golden Eagles all out at the same time. We walked to the pub in Stein several times, using the forestry track as a short cut, a lovely short walk. We also treated ourselves at the seafood restaurant, it was really good. A lovely holiday, thank you!

Thank you for the use of Green Pastures which we thoroughly enjoyed. In terms of wildlife we did spot a deer in the grass at the front of the croft and saw most days a kestrel hovering around. The cuckoo was of course ever present, which came a surprise for us as thought they did not venture that far North – so much for our knowledge of the natural world. We did spot a minky whale off Neish point which was lovely as well as three eagles on our way home, although the holiday was not all about wildlife spotting and was very relaxing. Thank you again for allowing us to share in Green Pastures and hope that your bookings for the rest of the year go well.

Just wanted to drop a line and say thank you for letting the cottage to us. We really enjoyed our stay and sampled the delights of the The Three Chimneys, Stein Inn and Loch Bay as well as the cliff top walk and a hike in the Cuillin. We also visited the Talisker distillery as well as Portree which is charming and thankfully saw it in the special ray of sunshine which came our way that day.
